Ett trykk - Challenge for our April 02/10 issue

For our April issue 02/10 of Ett trykk, we would like to challenge you, to make an envelope card for our magazine!

You can eigther make an envelope card from the start, or you can just embellish a pre-made envelope - your choise! The price to be, is simply to get published in our mag, and get lots of credit from our readers!!!

I've decorated a pre-made white envelope in size 15 x 15 cm - hopefully to get you inspired to start on your own envelope cards ;)

 

  

 

Recipe:

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping, Distress Ink - refills for colouring, Distress ink - Weathered Wood and Antique Linen for inking the edges.

Stamps: Scraplyckan - Image, Norsk Stempelblad AS - Corner Text.

Papers: Kaiser Craft - Duchess Collection "Empire", Bazzill - Green Cardstock, Aquarellpaper 200 g.

Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities Rectangles., Brown Pen for faux stitching.

Embellies: WOC/Unik Hobby - Roses, Prima - Bling, Kort & Godt - Ribon and Pearls.

Sketchy Colors Challenge #10 meets Scrappekammeret #1

I loooove sundays!!! Even though I'm working again this weekend, I'm working afternoon shift today, so I have the whole morning off :) Yey!!!

Featured Stamper at Just Magnolia

Just Magnolia – Tutorial: Braided Basket

Several weeks ago, I was asked to be Just Magnolia's Featured Stamper of February!!!

What an honour!!! I'm so thrilled about this!!!

Thank you Bev (and the rest of the DT) for asking me - you're a real sweetheart!

I was asked to make a tutorial of something, and I decided to make

a tutorial of my braded basket.

It was important to me, to make the basket as "sweet" as possible, and of course that entainded some Tilda images, the colour pink, and some chocolate :)

I don't own any new Tilda images (okay, shame on me :), but Bev was kind enough to send me some cute stamped images - thank you so much sweetie!

Stamps: Magnolia – Tilda

Ink: Distress ink – Refills for colouring, Distress Ink Pad – Walnut Stain and ColorBox Pigment Brush Pad – Dusty Plum for inking the edges.

Papers: DCWV – Luxury Pad, MME – Bella Bella and Ladybug & Friends – Creme Cardstock.

Tools: Martha Stewart - Edge Punch Doily Lace and Deep Edge Punch Doily Lace, ruler, scalpel and Crop-A-Dile.

Embellishments: Kort & Godt – Pink Roses, Prima – Mini Gypsos, Wild Orchid Cratfs - Pink/Crème Roses, Kaiser Kraft – Rhinestones, Unik Hobby – Charms, Methal Flowers, Silver Rings and Pink Ribbon.

DT Unik Hobby January - Friendship

For my February project, I got a beautiful Ladybug & Friends stamp from Unik Hobby, and I felt like making a valentine-friendship card for a great friend of mine :)

I've made a folding card, but I don't remember what the folding technic is called :(

The beautiful Ladybug & Friends image designed by Elisabeth Bell, is coloured with Distress Ink refills on 200 g Aquarellpaper.

The georgeous patterned papers are from My Minds Eye' Carefree Collection; called "Adorable" and "Graceful".

I've embossed some cornerstamps from Prima, and the corner text from Norsk Stempelblad, with white Embossing powder.

Inside the card, I've stamped a sentiment from Stempelglede, with Archival Ink - Jet Black.

The edges are inked with Distress Ink - Weathered Wood and Vivaldi - Plum.

When you fold out the whole card, the sentiment inside is hidden.

I've used Spellbinders Nestabilities Long Rectangles and Ovals to make the panels.

The card is being held together with a double ribbon, and the panel with my signature on the back.

I've embellished the card with lots of different flowers from Unik Hobby and Prima, pearls and charms.

I've even put some Glitterstick on the flowers, to make the card sparkle a bit.

Now, pay a visit to Unik Hobby and discover all the great stuff in the shop!!!

My advent calendar contended..., a KAOS and some other awards :)

As you may remember, I got an amazing adventcalendar from my best friend Maya :)

Some time ago, I got this georgeous KAOS-award from the very sweet and talented Kaia!!!

I was so supprised, and so happy, by reciving this KAOS - thank you so much, my friend, it really means a lot to me!

As you may remember, I did recive a KAOS earlier too, so now I have to make 6 of them myself...
But I know who's gonna get them...
So, during a couple of weeks, I'll let you know :)
