GD Lili of the Valley August - 2nd Project

A Happy Day To You All!

My second project for my August GD position at Lili of the Valley :)
Today I'll show you TWO Paper Clip Book Marks I've made using the Long Rectangles from Spellbinders, and a couple of the cute images from Lili of the Valley's Summer Bears Collection.
Again - these are perfect for using up some scraps, and maybe they can be used as cute little presents for some great friends that enjoys reading :)

Blue Paper Clip Book Mark
Size: 8 x 15 cm
Ink: Adirondack - Pitch Black, Distress Ink - Stormy Sky.
Stamps: Lili of the Valley - Present Trio, Inkadinkado - Kid Quotes.
Colouring: Promarkers & Prismacolors.
Papers: Bildmålarna - scraps, Bazzill - blue & white cardstock scraps, copy paper 280g.
Tools: Spellbinders - Nesting Long Rectangles,  Petite Scalloped Long Rectangles & Classic Circles dies, Memory Box - Wowen Circle die.
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts - Self Adhesive Rhinestones.
Other Things: The clouds are cut out of the DP, and fastened with 3D-pillows.

DT Unik Hobby - T-Shirt Card

Just wanted to show you a card I made for a class I was teaching at Unik Hobby first in May ;)

The class' theme was folding and Confirmation.

Since I sometimes struggle to come up with some great ideas on cards for a bit bigger boys, I was so pleased to get this idea to my card from a tutorial at Create 4 Fun's Design Team Blog.

In the tut there's two tiny T-Shirts used as the main image on a card, so I "blew up" the size and made my own measurements, to create my actual card as a T-Shirt :)

DT Lili of the Valley Challenge #82

GDT Unik Hobby March

Til mars-prosjeketet mitt for Unik Hobby, fikk jeg en nydelig stempelplate fra Inkadinkado, og fant ut at de passet helt perfect til å prøve ut mine nyanskaffede Perfect Pearls :)
Alt av materiale jeg har brukt på kortet, kan kjøpes hos Unik Hobby.
Alle DT-bidragene mine for Unik Hobby, og selvfølgelig alle prosjektene til de andre i DT,
kan også beskues i Unik Hobby's blog :)

As my March asigment for Unik Hobby, I got a beautiful stamp kit from Inkadinkado, and tought they where perfect for my newly bought Perfect Pearls :)
All the materials I've used for this card, can be bought at Unik Hobby. 
All of my DT-projects for Unik Hobby, and ofcourse all the projects from the rest of the DT, can now be seen at the Unik Hobby's blog too :) 

Stemplene jeg har brukt, er 2 fra platen "Fluid Motion" fra Inkadinkado.
På framsiden har jeg brukt den nydelige sommerfuglen :)
Jeg har stemplet både motiver og tekster med VersaMark - Watermark blekk, og kostet på Perfect Pearls på alle sammen, i fargene "Rust", "Blue Patina" & "Interference Violet".

The stamps I've used are 2 of the "Fluid Motion" Collection from Inkadinkado.
On the front, I've used the georgeous butterfly :)
I've stamped the images and texts with VersaMark - Watermark ink, and used Perfect Pearls on everyone of them, in the colours "Rust", "Blue Patina" & "Interference Violet".

På innsiden har jeg brukt et tekststempel fra Stempelglede, og
bie-stempelet fra Inkadinkado-platen.
Det nydelige mønsterarket er fra BoBunny's Snowy Serenade Glitter Paper kolleksjon, 
og heter Winter Night.
Andre papirer jeg har brukt er prikkete turkis kartong også fra BoBunny, og
svart og mørk lilla kartong fra Bazzill.
Alle papirene er svertet i kantene med Distress Ink - Black Soot.

On the inside, have I stamped a sentiment from Stempelglede, and 
the bee stamp from the Inkadinkado collection.
The beautiful patterned paper is from BoBunny's Snowy Serenade Glitter Paper collection 
called Winter Night.

Other papers I've used, are dotted turqouise cardstock also from BoBunny, and 
purple and black cardstock from Bazzill.
All the edges on the papers are inked with Distress ink - Black Soot.

De svarte ovale panelene er stanset ut med en Spellbinders - Nesting Petite Oval Large,
limt oppå en Spellbinders - Nesting Petite Oval Scallop Large i turkis kartong.
Ovalene er festet oppå 6 stk utstansede pedanter av typen
Spellbinders - Shapes Pendants "Fleur De Lis", med 3D-puter.
Pedantene er festet oppå mønsterpapiret med litt tynnere 3D-puter,
for å løfte de litt ut fra mønsterpapiret.

The black ovale panels are punched out with a Spellbinders Nesting Petite Oval Large,
glued to a turqouise cardstock punched out with a Spellbinders - Nesting Petite Oval Scallop Large.
The ovales are fastened on top of 6 punched out pedants of  
Spellbinders - Shapes Pendants "Fleur De Lis", with 3D-pillows. 
The pendants are fastened on top of the patterned paper with a bit thinner 3D-pillows, 
just to lift them a bit from the patterned paper. 

Som pynt på kortet, har jeg brukt forskjellige roser og roseknupper fra Unik Hobby - i fargene
lilla, turkis og svart,
turkis bånd også fra Unik Hobby (ikke i nett-butikken), og
3 mm perler fra Kort & Godt i fargene turkis og creme.

To embellish the card, I've used several different roses and rosebuds from Unik Hobby - in the colours of purple, turqouise and black, 
turqouise ribbon also from Unik Hobby (not in the web-store), and  
3 mm pearls from Kort & Godt in the colours turqouise and creme.


Hvis du ikke har prøvd Perfect Pearls før, så anbefaler jeg det på det sterkeste :)
Utrolig morsomt å jobbe med, enkelt å bruke, og gir utrolig flott effekt!

If you have'nt tried Perfect Pearls before, I strongly recomand it :)
It's fun to work with, easy to use, and makes an amazing effect!

When I saw the great sketch Camilla had made, for Challenge 64, over at A Spoon Full of Sugar, I new I had to make a card with it ;)
For this card, I felt like using my new and georgeous Bo Bunny papers - I think they went great with my already-coloured buzzer-fairy ;)
I also tried to make friends with my sewing-machine (again), but we're not quite buddies yet, I think *lol*

DT Ett trykk 03/09 Cards on 1-2-3: Butterflies

In the issue 03/09 of the magazine Ett trykk, I made an small article about making 4 cards in a hurry/on 1-2-3. I chose to use butterflies as a theme ;)
