DT Vilda Stamps - Pillow Box

Good Morning!

Here's a little altered pillow box I made for my brother's birthday quite a while ago :)

I've used a couple of great stamps from Vilda Stamps on it!

Ink: Archival Ink - Jet Black, Distress Ink - Pumice Stone.

DT Vilda Stamps

Hello everybody!!!

It's time to shake some life in to this blog again :):):)

I was asked to join the DT at Vilda Stamps for a while longer, and I simply couldn't resist it, so here I am with my first two creations for 2013 ;)

I've gone with the theme 'recycle' this time, and made a pillow box, and a candle light box (inspired by Wenche's in the April issue of Ett trykk)!

This set is made as a birthday gift for my mother, and I hope you'll like it as well!

DT Vilda Stamps - December

Good Morning!

It's time to show you a new project I made for Vilda Stamps!
This will be my last DT work for Vilda Stamps, since my DT-term now is over, and I'd like to thank all the girls at Vilda Stamps for letting me play along with them - and all these wonderful stamps, this time I've been around!

My project this time, is a altered mirror, in a slightly Steam Punk style :)

Sadly - all the beautiful colours doesn't come to it's right on the pictures ;(

Ink: Staz On - Jet Black, Versa Mark - Dazzle "Frost".

Mediums: Gane Brothers & Lane - Yes! Paste, Tattered Angels - Glimmermist "Brick" & "Copper", Ranger - Embossing Tinsel "Gold", black acrylic paint.

Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts - Metal Flowers & -Butterflies and Self Adhesive Pearls, metal key.

DT LOTV - Spring #2: Project - "Teddy for Mum"

Good Morning!


I was supposed to publish this a couple of days ago, but had some problems with my blog...
That's all sorted now, but to get rid of the problem, I had to delete my bloglist consuming "international inspirators" ;(
I managed to save some of "you", and will try to add the rest along the way refinding you :)


Anyway - this is my last project as a fulltime DT-member of Lili of the Valley ;(
A big thank you to Lisa, Laila & Anne for letting me stay on this fabolous team for so long, for all your support and for letting me play with such an amount of beautiful images!
And a big thank you to all of my DT-collegues along the way too - you all ROCK!!!
BUT I've been asked to join LOTV as a GD every now and then, so I wont be totally gone *lol*


Now - back to my LOTV-project:

When you're having a lot of friends and family, it's quite easy to forget someones Birthday, so I decided to make a Birthday Calendar to keep up with all the Birthdays during the year. I've recycled a simple Photo Frame Album from IKEA, but I'll gues you can make the rack by using cardstock and a Bind-It-All machine.

The image I've used is just perfect for my February month, since we're celebrating Mothers Day in February here in Norway.

Size: 14 x 19 cm

Ink: Memento - Pitch Black, Distress Ink - Bundled Sage.

Stamp: Lili of the Valley - "Teddy for Mum".

Colouring: Prismacolor Premier Pencils.

Papers: Bildmålarna - Picnick "Butterflies", Bazzill - ivory & sage cardstock, copy paper 280g.

Tools: Martha Stewart - Eyelet Lace corner punch, EK Success - corner rounder punch, Crop-A-Dile, craft knife.

Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts - Chrysanthemums, Carnations, Open Paper Roses 20 mm & 15 mm, Heather Stem Flowers & Self Adhesive Pearls, Stickles - Diamond, eyelets.

Other things: I cut green cardstock a little bit smaller than the plastic rack, and added panels of white cardstock and patterned paper.

The template to the calendar, did I get from my friend Marianne, but I resized it, and changed the the letters and numbers like I wanted them. I printed out the calendar on copy paper 280g - the same as I coloured my image on. 

I used my Crop-A-Dile to punch holes and set yelets with, to fit the rings on the rack.
The image is cut out, and the baloons are attached to the bear with silver colured sewing tread.
