DT Sketchy Colors - Challenge #79

Sketchy Colors is back from our Summer Break, and ready with a new challenge!!!
For our Challenge #79 we have some pretty colours for you to make a creation in:
Pink, white & gold!

I've made a vintage looking card this time, with some gold embossing and a shaker frame filled with gold glitter - hope you like it!

DT Sketchy Colors - Challenge #52

DT Ett trykk: Issue 03/10 - Sketch

The issue 03/10 of our magazine Ett trykk, has already been for sale a whole month, and I'm again allowed to show my cards elsewhere :)

I'm starting with showing you my sketchcard - this time in a real vintage style :)

Recipe:

Size: 14 x 19 cm

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee, Distress Ink - Vintage Photo & Walnut Stain, Versamark - Watermark.

Stamp: Norsk Stempelblad AS - text.

Papers: Minnehjørnet - Design by Gudrun Lonecken "Vintage" & "Nostalgi", Bazzill - brown cardstock, sketch paper, corrugated paper.

Tools: Tim Holtz - edge distresser, Making Memories - white & brown paint, crackle paint, embossingpowder in gold.

Embellishments: Trollsmed - porcelain angel, Kort & Godt - pearls, big rose & berries, Unik Hobby - roses, Kuttut - Gypsos, lace, feathers.

Technics: All the edges are distressed. The porcelain angel has got a patina with Distress Ink. The corrugated paper is painted with layers of white & brown paint and crackle paint, before the edges where embossed with gold.

DT Unik Hobby January - Friendship

For my February project, I got a beautiful Ladybug & Friends stamp from Unik Hobby, and I felt like making a valentine-friendship card for a great friend of mine :)

I've made a folding card, but I don't remember what the folding technic is called :(

The beautiful Ladybug & Friends image designed by Elisabeth Bell, is coloured with Distress Ink refills on 200 g Aquarellpaper.

The georgeous patterned papers are from My Minds Eye' Carefree Collection; called "Adorable" and "Graceful".

I've embossed some cornerstamps from Prima, and the corner text from Norsk Stempelblad, with white Embossing powder.

Inside the card, I've stamped a sentiment from Stempelglede, with Archival Ink - Jet Black.

The edges are inked with Distress Ink - Weathered Wood and Vivaldi - Plum.

When you fold out the whole card, the sentiment inside is hidden.

I've used Spellbinders Nestabilities Long Rectangles and Ovals to make the panels.

The card is being held together with a double ribbon, and the panel with my signature on the back.

I've embellished the card with lots of different flowers from Unik Hobby and Prima, pearls and charms.

I've even put some Glitterstick on the flowers, to make the card sparkle a bit.

Stempelglede's Handmade Card Contest

Stempelglede is having a huge Handmade Card Contest, and when I saw the great colours we're suppose to use, I new I had to give it a shot :)

And the prices to win are amazing - who does'nt want to win some amazing Stempelglede stamps?

So this is what I came up with, using the great colors in the picture above.

I've used stamps from Stempelglede's georgeous collections "Gledelig Jul" and "Grunge Hearts".

I've used Melissa Frances' georgeous patterned paper "Winter Freeze", and white, blue and craft cardstock from Bazzill to make the card.

I've stamped swirls from Stempelglede's "Grunge Hearts" Collection on the patterned paper with embossing ink, and embossed it with Ranger "Sea Foam" embossingpowder.

My sewing machine does'nt work on paper, so I just made the holes in the papers with it, and then sewed by hand around the patterned papers.

The rest of the stamping is made with Archival Ink - Sepia, on Aquarellpaper 200 g.

I've painted the beautiful angel's wings with Glimmermist - Silver, to make it shimmer a bit :)

All the edges on the panels and papers are inked with Distress Ink - Antique Linen and Weathered Wood. The craft cardstock are inked with some Vintage Photo as well.

For the embellishments I've used several different flowers, roses and rosebuds from Unik Hobby, Prima and Papirloftet, a cinnamon stick with some tulle around, charms and ribbon from Unik Hobby, Pearlswirls from Prima, and other pearls from Kort & Godt.

I've used the same layout on every side of the card, just flipped it a bit, to make a littele twist.

The "frames" on the white squares are made with a EKSuksess borderpunch, and for the circles I've used Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic and Scalloped Circles.

File-Folder-Card

Another DT-card made for Ett trykk 01/09. This is one of two contributions, where we where challenged to use die-cuts in a creative way...




I've used a filefolder- and some alpha-diecuts from BG, Bazzill cardstock, stamps from AA-Design and Kreativ Hobby, the embossing-technic and some American Crafts. Thickers.

Årets farsdagsgave ;o)

Jeg har ventet lenge med å legge ut dette, av hensyn til at esken er laget etter Anita T's coaster-eske-mal, som finnes i utgave 06/08 av Ett trykk. Malen til esken kan dere også finne i ett-trykk-bloggen her!

Altså, i år laget jeg farsdagsgaven til pappa selv - en coaster-eske med 6 glassbrikker, og ett pyntet glass med brente mandler. Det er ikke alltid så enkelt å lage presanger til menn, med bruk av stempelscrapping... Men takket være snille og kreative Anita, fikk jeg malen til denne fantastiske coaster-esken på Ski-treffet, og årets farsdagsgave var plutselig i boks! Tusen, tusen takk Anita!
Hovedstemplene jeg har brukt er fra AA-Design, og passet perfekt til mitt formål. Rammestemplene jeg har brukt er fra Prima. Sirkelstempel fra Norsk Stempelblad As, og signaturstempel fra Scrapmagasinet. Av papir har jeg brukt mønsterpapir fra MME-29th Street Market-serien, 'ensfarget' papir fra BG, Bazzill-kartong og tykk papp. Bilene er stemplet med Archival Ink - Coffee, og netting-stempelet er embosset med tinnfarget embossingpulver. Esken har enkel pynt av QK-stjerner, glasserte chipboard-stjerner og Scrappers Floss.
Glassbrikkene er skåret ut i tykk papp med sirkelkutter, malt vekselsvis med MM-akrylmaling og krakkeleringslakk, før dem ble pusset med sandpapir, påført litt ColorBox Fluid Chalk - Creamy Brown, stemplet og embosset. Til slutt fikk de tre strøk med decoupage-lakk, slik at de tåler litt fukt/søl. Samme omgang fikk topp/bunn til esken også, før papir og annet stæsj ble lagt til.
Pappa er veldig glad i Cognac (en gang i blant altså), og hjemme hos oss har samboeren min alltid en Braastadflaske han fyller opp igjen - og igjen, når pappa kommer på besøk = Derfor utsagnet i lokket på esken ;o)
Glasset jeg har pyntet, er av samme typen som jeg pyntet tidligere en gang - et fetaost-glass. Jeg har brukt samme stempler, teknikker og pynt på glasset, som på esken. Jeg fylte glasset med brente mandler, fordi det er noe av det beste pappa vet - og han elsker å slappe av foran TV'n om kvelden, og kose seg med noe godt :o)
Pappa har blitt ganske lettrørt med årene, og det falt et par tårer da han fikk presangen min - så jeg vet at han satte pris på den! Go'e, snille, rare pappa'n min!

Ett Trykk Oktober - Kort med embossede blomster

Julekort

Et julekort jeg har laget i dag! Litt annerledes enn de jeg pleier å lage (helt uten motiv stempler), og det er sikkert derfor jeg ikke er helt fornøyd med det heller...

Materialene jeg har brukt er bla: Papir;Brun, rød og vaniljefarget Bazzill kartong, notepapir og rester av mønsterpapir. Tekststempler fra KH-design og Norsk Stempelblad AS. Swirlblomsten er fra Fancy Pants - Bella Brush. Myntene er fra Kort og Godt. Andre ting jeg har brukt er gull-embossingpulver og gullpenn, Scrappers Floss, ispinne og ColorBox Fluid Chalk til sverting av kantene.
