DT Sukkersött Challenge #59

Another friday is finally here - and I'm off work, for the whole weekend! Yey!!!
Today is dedicated to housework, but the rest of the weekend, I'm gonna enjoy myself with crafting ;)

Well, friday means Sukkersõtt time, and we have a new challenge ready for you in the Sukkersott blog! For this Challenge #59, we want you to make/use an image split in 4-9 "inches", on your project. One "inch" is about 2,5 x 2,5 cm, in norwegian measures. You may solve the assigment in any way you want, just as long as you stay in between 4-9 pieces of "inches", and the "puzzle" turns into a "whole" image/picture.
If you need som ideas how to begin - just take a look at the DT's great work this week ;)

This time I made a "spinning-card" (my first ;). I chose to colour and decorate one image, and then split it into 9 "inches":

Card recipe:
Size: 13 x 20 cm
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee and Cobalt for stamping, Distress Ink - Weathered Wood for shading, Distress Ink - Refills for colouring.
Stamps: Serendipety - Snowman in front of a fence, Papirloftet - Sentimentcircle on the spinning circle and every side, Inkido - Sentimentcircle inside, Autumn Leaves - Stampology "On the edge".
Papers: Inkido - Flinga blå, Bazzill - Shimmer dark blue and Canvas light blue, Aquarellpaper 200 g.
Embellies: Poinsettas, Wild Orchid Crafts - Roses and Rosebuds, Unik Hobby - Charm, Nille - Ribbon, Decoart - Snow Wruter, Ranger - Stickles "Frosted Lace", Bling and Silver tread.
Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities Squares and Scalloped Squares, QK - CC Stars, EK Suksess - Fern Leaf Punch and Circle Punch, Stampin'Up - Word Window Punch.
Other things: The star with the sentiment circle on the front, is spinning. The snow on the image, is decorated with Snow Writer and Stickles.
♥ Thanks again, for all your sweet comments - You're the best! ♥
♥ I wish you all, a wonderful weekend! ♥

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 80 & Happy Birthday Angela

First of all - thank you so much, for all the sweet comments you're leaving me! I'm so grateful for each and everyone of them!
Today's my daugther Angela's 11th birthday!!! Yey!
Though I can't belive how fast time flies...
She won't be celebrating her birthday until next week, because this week her school is having it's fall school break, that means most of her friends are away on vacation.

But of course I've made her a birthday card, that I found out suits this weeks Challenge 80 at Cute Card Thursday. The theme is "A Pine & A Punch", and we're supposed to make a card celebrating the first something. I'm of course celebrating my first born child, with her 11th birthday ;)

So this is the card that I made for Angela - using a stamp, that actually reminds me of her, when she was a little girl ;)

Front of the card:

The back:

The card in perspective:

Card recipe:
Size: 11 x 11 cm
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping, Distress Ink - Pine Needles for inking the edges, Distress Ink - Refills for colouring.
Stamps: Beeswax - "Bow in Hair" (image), Norsk Stempelblad AS - Sentiments (on the front: You're special, Inside: Happiness is the art of getting a bouquet, out of the flowers you have in reach).
Papers: BoBunny - Love Shack "Funky", Bazzill - French Vanilla and Brown Cardstock.
Embellies: Wild Orchid Crafts - Roses and Rosebuds, Kort & Godt - Pearls, Panduro - Karen Marie Klip "Butterflies", Organza Ribbon.
Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities Labels 4, Martha Stewart - Scalloped Petite Heart Border Punch.

This is a picture of Angela at the age of 5. The picture is taken when she was a bridesmade in my brothers wedding, and I think she looks like a (tired) little princess :)

This is a picture of her, the way she looks "today", taken last christmas - still looking like a princess :)

Happy 11th birthday, Angela! Love you!

♥ Thank you so much for visting - have a great day! ♥

DT Sukkersött Challenge #55 & Kort Cup #2

Me going "Shabby Vintage"

Friday again - I can't belive how fast time flies ;)
This friday's Sukkersött Challenge #55, is a Challenge with a little twist ;) We want you to make a project, that is neighter square or rectangle shaped - and we want it to sparkle!! Please take a peek in the Sukkersött blog, to read more about the challenge, this week's price, and to find out what the rest of the DT have made this week ;)

I decided to make a Cristmas Ball with a little "shabby vintage" look, using my brand new christmas stamps from Stempelglede, and my brand new beautiful christmas papers from Ladybug & Friends - that I got from a friend (thank you Malene ;)!

Everyone in the DT got sponsored with a bottle of Shimmerz Spritz from Shimmerz Paints, so if you click on the pics to get them bigger, you can see that the panels and the flowers on my card, are shimmering ;)

And when my card turned into this "Shabby Vintage" style, I also decided to take part in the Kort Cup #2, where the theme is Shabby Chic or Vintage ;)

My "Shabby Vintage" christmas ball:
