Om drøyt 3 uker får vi et lite nytt familiemedlem!

En liten Engelsk Cocker Spaniel frøken skal flytte inn hos oss - og du verden, som vi gleder oss :)

Dette er valpen vår, 4 uker gammel - hun har allerede flyttet inn i hjertene våre ♥

Men - vi trenger fortsatt litt hjelp...

Noen navn har kommet på blokka, men å finne et passende navn til den lille frøkna, er ikke så enkelt!!!

Så derfor tenkte jeg å utfordre dere, til å hjelpe meg med å finne et fint navn til henne ;)

Navnet må ikke være for langt, det må være enkelt å uttale, og det skal ikke være "menneskenavn".

Det beste forslaget vil bli premiert med en liten overraskelse, uansett om det blir brukt eller ikke!

Så hiv dere rundt - kom med forslag!
Noter gjerne om dere har hund eller ikke selv ;)

Christmas came early this year!

Look!

I've become an aunt again this evening, to the sweetest little prince ever (again :)

He looks just like his brother Benjamin did, when he was born 5 years ago :)

I already love him with my whole heart, and can't wait to meet him ♥

I'm not a scrapper BUT I've made a LO :)

Hi sweeties!

First of all - I'm not a scrapper in the word of making layouts...

But with that said, I took a class in March this year, held by Trine Hansen, where I made 2 LO's...

It was fun, but I haven't made any more since then - until now :)

Last weekend when I was at the craft crop event in Ski, there was a competition,

to make a single page LO with a minimum of 3 pictures, 

 5 different fonts in the text, and handwriting.

I thought it was a fun way to challenge myself, and decided to give it a try :)

I was soooooo surprised, humble and happy, when I actually won the competition!!!!

This is a layout with pictures of my nephew Benjamin and myself, taken 5 years ago, when Benjamin was a newborn. I don't usually like pictures of myself, but this is a picture that I really love :)

The text says something like this:

In your auntes embrace you'll always feel safe

The handwriting is lots of words, that recounts my feelings and thoughts related to this picture.

A special thanks to my friend Maya, who helped me come up with the title, and to all of you who woted for my LO at the competition in Ski - thank you so much!

Supplies list:

Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts - Carnations, Lilies, Open Paper Roses 20 mm, 15 mm & 10 mm, Gypsophilas on stems, Self Adhesive Rhinestones, Lace & Metal Corners, velvet ribbon, transparent butterfly & hackled doilies (inherited from my beloved grandmother).

New Hairstyle and Some :( News

Almost all my life, I've had half long or long hair, and for about the last 10 years, I've pretty much had the same hairstyle...

I found out that I needed a change, and went to my hair dresser om Tuesday!

My hair dresser and I desided to be a bit crazy, and my hair style suddently changed drasticly (at least, I think so :) *lol*

This is a picture from early June this year...

Before my hair cut on Tuesday, my hair was much longer and lighter than this...

And this is my new hair style ;)

Not easy to take pictures by myself :(

But - improvement or not? What do you think?

Sketch Saturday Week #108 meets Unik Hobby - June

Another challenge is ready for you at Sketch Saturday!!!

And I've combined it with my June challenge for Unik Hobby :)

For my June challenge, Unik Hobby gave me this most adorable Sarah Kay stamp (one of my favourite stamp collections) from Stampavie, and I knew I had to make a card that gave me a summery feeling :)

So here's my Sarah Kay summer card - Unik Hobby featuring Sketch Saturday's weekly sketch #108:

The image is stamped with Archival Ink - Coffee on aquarellpaper, and coloured with Distress Ink - Refills; mainly in the colours of "Tumbled Glass", "Victorian Velvet", Pumice Stone" & "Forest Moss".
The birthday sentiment is from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and says "Hipp, hipp, hurray!"

I've used patterned papers, from the Tim Holtz - Idea-Ology "Vintage Shabby" Collection & 3ndy's - "Søtt", distressed with Distress Ink - "Victorian Velvet" & "Broken China", together with pink Bazzill cardstock & plain white cardstock.

The card is embellished with beautiful white Cherry Blossoms, and pink roses, pearls and berries from 

Kort & Godt.

I've used Spellbinders - Nesting Circles to cut out the image, along with a round Multi Frame from Nellie Snellen, and a couple of edge punches from EK Suksess.
The seem around the the panels are made with my sewing machine.

Papers: Tim Holtz - Idea-Ology "Vintage Shabby", 3ndy - "Søtt", Aquarellpaper 200 g, white cardstock.

Embellies: Kort & Godt - roses, pearls & berries, Unik Hobby/WOC - Cherry Blossoms.
