GD Make It Crafty

Good Morning!!

I while ago, I got an email from Tracy & Zoe from Make It Crafty, asking if I would like to be their guest designer in Septhemer :)

A bit scary, since there's a lot of amazing artists on their DT, but I couldn't resist trying, since there's so many beautiful items in the Make It Crafty range ;)

Thank you so much, Tracy & Zoe (and the rest of the DT) for having me as your guest - I'm so honored to get this opportunity!

I was so lucky to get two awesome images from Make It Crafty to work with, called "Geeky Love" & "Tree of Love". 

I masked the images together to make a scene, and coloured it with Distress Markers.

I made a Map Card suitable for a (young) couple in love, containing some "Mini Love Hearts" (sweet candy) with a cute tag on inside ;)

Some of the corners on the card, are embellished with "Ornate Corners" some georgeous chipboard embellishments - also from Make It Crafty.

Ink for stamping: Archival Ink - Coffee & Jet Black.

Ink for the edges: Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass & Pumice Stone.

Images: Make It Crafty - "Geeky Love" & "Tree of Love".

Colouring: Distress Markers.

Colours: Tree & Grass - Forest Moss, Brushed Cordoroy & Walnut Stain.

Skin - Tattered Rose & Tea Dye + Worn Lipstick (cheeks).

Hair - Scattered Straw & Brushed Cordoroy.

Boy's clothes - Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass & Stormy Sky.

Girl's clothes - Victorian Velvet, Walnut Stain & Pumice Stone.

Sky - Tumbled Glass.

Sentiment on the front: Papirloftet - "The best times are the ones we have together".

Sentiment inside: Heartfelt Design - "The smile in the eye, is the light in the window, that tell you that you're home".

Sentiments on the tag: North Star Stamps - "The flowers of tomorrow, are the seeds of today" & Heartfelt Design - "Like the flowers needs sun, does the humans need love".

Papers: Maja Design - Vintage Summer Basics, Bazzill - teal & brownish cardstock, Canson - Montval aquarell paper 200g.

Tools: Martha Stewart - Doily Heart edge punch, Whiff of Joy - Tag die.

DT Lili of the Valley Challenge #89

Morning to you all!

I've made a box this time (inspired by my best friend Maya's square boxes), and

I used another cute image from

the new Lili of the Valley Animal Collection called "Leap Frog" :)

These bunnies really makes me smile - they look so happy bunching around :)

As this box is ment to contend a birthday gift for a great friend of mine,

I really hope these bunnies makes her happy too :)

Sukkersött Challenge #86

Sukkersött has published theire last Challenge #86, this week, and 'cause of that, the amazing prices, and me having some spare time this last weekend, I ended up making a card after the Sukkersött sketch :)

Recipe:

Size: 15 x 15 cm

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee, Distress Ink - Refills.

Stamps: Whiff of Joy - image, Kort & Godt - text.

Papers: Maja Design - pp (green), Heartfelt Design - pp (pink), Bazzill - pink cardstock, Canson - Aquarellpaper 200 g, white cardstock.

Tools: Nellie Snellen - Multi Frames 005 & 008 (Bunny Zoe's Crafts), EK Suksess - border punch, sewing machine.

Embellishments: Papirloftet - Japanese Cherry Blossoms, Unik Hobby - Cherry Blossoms, Kort og Godt - pearls & berries.

Technics: The image is coloured with Distress Ink - Refills. I've used my sewing machine to sew around the edges on the panels.

Sketch Saturday Week #103 features Unik Hobby - May Challenge

Another Saturday - Another sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday - Week #103!

And since I also had to make a project for my May Challenge at Unik Hobby, I turned the sketch into a boys card this time :)

The stamp I got to play with, was this georgeous MoManning stamp from Stampavie - Sumpins wrong!
This fellow is just adorable - is'nt he?

The image is stamped with Archival Ink - Coffee on aquarellpaper, and coloured with Distress Ink - Refills; mainly in the colours of "Stormy Sky" and "Pumice Stone".
The birthday sentiment is from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and says "Hipp, hipp, hurray!"

I've used blueish patterned papers, from Fancy Pants and Papir i hjertet's own design - Heartfelt Design.
The patterned papers are distressed with Distress Ink - Weathered Wood.
I've also used Bazzill - Vanilla and blue cardstock.

I've used Spellbinders - Nesting Squares and Long Rectangles to make some of the panels.
The sentiment inside is also from Norsk Stempelblad AS.

The long hitch fastener from Sissix - Tim Holtz Alterations "Harware Findings", is painted with Distress Crackle Paint - Picket Fence and inked with Distress Ink - Weathered Wood.

The stars are cut out with Quick Kuts - Cookie Cutter "Stars", inked and embellished with silver gemstones.
The seem around the text on the front, is done by hand, with silver tread.

Distress Ink - Refills for colouring.

Tools: Sissix - Tim Holtz Alterations "Hardware Findings", Spellbinders - Nesting Squares & Rectangles, QK - CC Stars, Distress Crackle Paint - Picket Fence, silver tread, needle.

Other embellies: Silver gemstones.

GD hÄnglar & stÄnglar

A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to be a guest designer at hÂnglar & stÄnglar the month of may :)

Did I want to? Oh, yes I did!!!

I got some beautiful new stamps in the mail, and was asked to make a couple of projects with them. 

The stamps where SO cute, *smiling all over my face*, and I immediately got the perfect plan
on how to use them!! 

So okay, here's my first project, with my first ever sponsored hÄnglar & stÄnglar stamps:

I've made a card box :) 

The idea for the template to this box, did I get from the Double Dutch Challenge #41, 

but I drew my own template out of it, with my own messurements :)

Recipe:

Size: 14 x 16 cm

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping, Distress Ink - Refills for colouring.

Stamps: hÄnglar & stÄnglar - Minibärkit, Papir i hjertet - Heartfelt Design sentiment.

Papers: Tim Holtz - Idea-Ology "Vintage Shabby", Bazzill - Vanilla cardstock, 

Canson Aquarellpaper 200 g.

Tools: Martha Stewart - Eyelet Lace border punch, Spellbinders - Mega Long Ovals & Hearts, Marianne Design - Creatables LR0117 leaf (bought at Bunny Zoe's Craft), Polyshrink Plastic.

Embellies: Unik Hobby - roses and charm, May Arts - Ribbon (bought at Inky Wings).

The 2 images are masked together with the branch. The branch is stamped both ways.

Embellies: Wild Orchid Crafts - Cherry Blossoms, Kort & Godt - pearls, stickles.

The fairy's wings are cut out a bit, and fastened with gluepads, to make'em stand out a bit
from the "picture" :)
