DT LOTV Challenge #56

It's a biweekly thursday again - and it's time for a new challenge at Lili of the Valley!!!

Sketch Saturday Week #108 meets Unik Hobby - June

Another challenge is ready for you at Sketch Saturday!!!

And I've combined it with my June challenge for Unik Hobby :)

For my June challenge, Unik Hobby gave me this most adorable Sarah Kay stamp (one of my favourite stamp collections) from Stampavie, and I knew I had to make a card that gave me a summery feeling :)

So here's my Sarah Kay summer card - Unik Hobby featuring Sketch Saturday's weekly sketch #108:

The image is stamped with Archival Ink - Coffee on aquarellpaper, and coloured with Distress Ink - Refills; mainly in the colours of "Tumbled Glass", "Victorian Velvet", Pumice Stone" & "Forest Moss".
The birthday sentiment is from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and says "Hipp, hipp, hurray!"

I've used patterned papers, from the Tim Holtz - Idea-Ology "Vintage Shabby" Collection & 3ndy's - "Søtt", distressed with Distress Ink - "Victorian Velvet" & "Broken China", together with pink Bazzill cardstock & plain white cardstock.

The card is embellished with beautiful white Cherry Blossoms, and pink roses, pearls and berries from 

Kort & Godt.

I've used Spellbinders - Nesting Circles to cut out the image, along with a round Multi Frame from Nellie Snellen, and a couple of edge punches from EK Suksess.
The seem around the the panels are made with my sewing machine.

BIG News!!!!

I just have to tell you, I've been asked by the amazing Paul and Siri at Wild Orchid Crafts

DT Lili of the Valley Challenge #55

Hiya everyone!

This was supposed to be my second card as a GD at Lili of the Valley...
Instead it turned out to be my 1th card as full time DT member of LOTV!!! Woohooo!!!

Okay, we're ready with our Challenge #55, and we have a great new sketch for you to play with, made by Dawny!
An option to the sketch, is to use some flowers on the card as well, but
that's just up to you :)

Remember - to be entered for the prize you must use a Lili of the Valley Stamp!
LOTV has just come out with a brand new range of 12 images, and they are all  
G.E.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.
Visit the shop to take look at them, and I'll bet you'll even fancy some of the older ones too :)

For my card this week, I ended up using one of the new and very cute Dressing Up images; "New Hat" - Adorable, right??

Sketchy Colors Challenge #27

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee, Distress Ink - Dusty Concord & Bundled Sage, VersaMark - Watermark Ink.
Stamp: Norsk Stempelblad AS - text from sheet 25b  - In english: "May the sunshine fill your day from dusk til dawn".
Papers: Kaiser Craft - patterned paper, 3ndypapir - Die-cut paper, Bazzill - green cardstock, sketch paper.
Tools: Martha Stewart - Heart Lace punch & ribbon punch, EKSuksess - border punch, Polyshrink plastic, Heat Gun, UTEE - clear, Glitter, Kort & Godt - magnets.
Embellies: Unik Hobby - ribbon, roses and rosebuds, Inkido - big flower, Prima - Mini Gypsos,
Kuttut - charm.
The image from 3ndy's die-cut paper, is embossed with clear UTEE.  When the UTEE was cold/hard, I' bended the image, so the surface cracked up like broken glass.
The backside panel is cut a bit longer than the front, and scored on the top to make a flap that closes the bag - it stays closed with hidden magnets.

Sketch Saturday Week #105 & Party Bag Candy

Woohooo!

Sketch Saturday is celebrating it's birthday with this weeks challenge #105!! 

And boy, is that something worth taking a look at!!!
