Sketchy Colors Challenge #13

Sundays just come running, don't they? *smiling*

Sketchy Colors is ready with Challenge #13, and we've found another color combo for you 

to have fun with!!!

This time we would like to see you create something in the colors of red, pink and turqouise!

I've decorated a round box (the packing of a wine bottle - cut in two), 

and made it into a storage for my color pencils :)

 

 

Recipe:

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping, Distress ink - Refills for coloring.

Stamp: The Greeting Farm - Miss anya.

Papers: K&Company - patterned paper, Bazzill - red and pink cardstock, Aquarellpaper 200 g.

Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities ovals and circles, Fiskars - border punch.

Embellies: Kort & Godt - Red roses, Wild Orchid Crafts - roses and rosebuds, Prima - bling swirls, American Crafts - Thickers.

Sketchy Colors Challenge #12

Juuhuuu!!! It's sunday, and time for another Challenge #12 at Sketchy Colors!!!

We have made another sketch for you to play with, and another grab-bag of stamps from Inky Wings is our price this week too!

I did'nt make "just" a card after the sketch this time, but a box with a card on the top :) 

My sweet friend Kirsten, made a beautiful square easel-box not long ago, and that's what inspired me to make this rectangle shaped box with an easel-card on the lid/top cover :)

The box is made for my "bestest" friend Maya - and is filled up with stamps and other crafting supplies, 

as a combined belated christmas gift and a early birthday gift :)

 

Recipe:

Size: 6 x 10 x 17 cm

Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping, Distress Ink - Refills for coloring, 

Distress Ink - Weathered Wood for inking the edges.

Stamps: hÂnglar & stÂnglar - image (a birthdaygift from Maya :), Norsk Stempelblad AS - corner text, Stempelglede - sentiment inside the top cover.

Papers: Papirdesign - Mezibel patterned paper, Ladybug & Friends - blue cardstock, 

Bazzill - white cardstock, aquarellpaper 200 g.

Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities long rectangles and scalloped ovals.

Embellies: Kort & Godt - pearls and white flowers, Unik Hobby - Blue roses, white rosebuds, charm and white sheer ribbon.

DT Unik Hobby February - Valentine Sweeties

For my DT February project for Unik Hobby, I got a cute and funny stamp of some "bugs" :)

It imediately hit me, that I had to make a Valentines card with it, 

and I new I had the perfect red papers from 3ndy Papir to go with it too ;)

Til februarprosjektet mitt for Unik Hobby, fikk jeg et søtt og morsomt stempel av noen små "buser" :)

Det slo meg med en gang, at det måtte bli et Valentines kort ut av det, og jeg visste at jeg hadde liggende noen røde papirer fra 3ndy Papir som ville passe helt perfekt sammen med stempelet ;)

The stamp called "Snuggle Bugs" from Whipper Snapper, is stamped with Archival Ink - Coffee, and coloured with Distress Ink - Refills, on Aquarellpaper 200 g.

The patterned papers are from 3ndy Papir's Christmas Collections.

The text on the front is from Papirloftet.

Stempelet fra Whipper Snapper heter "Snuggle Bugs" og er stemplet med Archival Ink - Coffee, og fargelagt med Distress ink - Refiller, på 200 grams akvarellpapir.

De mønstrete papirene er fra 3ndy Papir's Julekolleksjoner.

Teksten på framsiden er fra Papirloftet.

All the edges on the PP and the Bazzill Cardstocks, are inked with 

Distress ink - Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. 

The frame on the red panel is made with a border punch from EK Suksess.

The beautiful sentiment inside is from Stempelglede.

Alle kantene på mønsterpapirene og kartongen fra Bazzill, er svampet med 

Distress Ink - Antique Linen og Vintage Photo.

Rammen på de røde panelene er stanset ut med en bordpunch fra EK Suksess.

Den nydelige teksten på innsiden er fra Stempelglede.

 

The hearts and rectangles are cut out with Spellbinders - Nestabilities.

The light hearts are embellished with tiny red pearls.

Hjertene og rektanglene er stanset ut med Spellbinders - Nestabilities.

De lyse hjertene er pyntet med små røde perler. 

I've used several different roses, methal and ribbon from Unik Hobby (and Kort & Godt), 

to decorate the card with.

The flowers have got some glitter on them too :) 

Jeg har dekorert kortet med ulike roser og knupper, metallpynt og bånd fra Unik Hobby 

(og Kort og Godt) .

Rosene har fått litt glitterlim på seg også :)

Just look at these cuties - perfect for someone you love:)

Ett trykk - Challenge for our April 02/10 issue

For our April issue 02/10 of Ett trykk, we would like to challenge you, to make an envelope card for our magazine!

You can eigther make an envelope card from the start, or you can just embellish a pre-made envelope - your choise! The price to be, is simply to get published in our mag, and get lots of credit from our readers!!!

Featured Stamper at Just Magnolia

Just Magnolia – Tutorial: Braided Basket

Several weeks ago, I was asked to be Just Magnolia's Featured Stamper of February!!!

What an honour!!! I'm so thrilled about this!!!

Thank you Bev (and the rest of the DT) for asking me - you're a real sweetheart!

I was asked to make a tutorial of something, and I decided to make

a tutorial of my braded basket.

It was important to me, to make the basket as "sweet" as possible, and of course that entainded some Tilda images, the colour pink, and some chocolate :)

I don't own any new Tilda images (okay, shame on me :), but Bev was kind enough to send me some cute stamped images - thank you so much sweetie!

DT Unik Hobby January - Friendship

For my February project, I got a beautiful Ladybug & Friends stamp from Unik Hobby, and I felt like making a valentine-friendship card for a great friend of mine :)

I've made a folding card, but I don't remember what the folding technic is called :(

The beautiful Ladybug & Friends image designed by Elisabeth Bell, is coloured with Distress Ink refills on 200 g Aquarellpaper.

The georgeous patterned papers are from My Minds Eye' Carefree Collection; called "Adorable" and "Graceful".

I've embossed some cornerstamps from Prima, and the corner text from Norsk Stempelblad, with white Embossing powder.

Inside the card, I've stamped a sentiment from Stempelglede, with Archival Ink - Jet Black.

The edges are inked with Distress Ink - Weathered Wood and Vivaldi - Plum.

When you fold out the whole card, the sentiment inside is hidden.

I've used Spellbinders Nestabilities Long Rectangles and Ovals to make the panels.

The card is being held together with a double ribbon, and the panel with my signature on the back.

I've embellished the card with lots of different flowers from Unik Hobby and Prima, pearls and charms.

I've even put some Glitterstick on the flowers, to make the card sparkle a bit.

Some time ago, I got this georgeous KAOS-award from the very sweet and talented Kaia!!!

I was so supprised, and so happy, by reciving this KAOS - thank you so much, my friend, it really means a lot to me!

As you may remember, I did recive a KAOS earlier too, so now I have to make 6 of them myself...
But I know who's gonna get them...
