Guest Designer at A Spoon full of Sugar
I'm a guest designer at A Spoon full of Sugar this week!! Yay!
The challenge 43 this week, is to use some bling/gem on your card - how fun is that?
Thank you so much, Camilla, for asking me to do this - I so appreciate it!
Take a look at the DT's beautiful creations this week, and join the challenge!
Here is my card ;o)
I made the front of this card, at the Ski-gathering a couple a weeks ago, and where challenged to use some corrugated paper, by the great scrapper Trine. I painted the corrugated paper with white Distress Crackle Paint, and went over it again with a touch of Distress Crackle Paint - Broken China. I used the painted result as a background for my image on the card, and it looks pretty cool, I think! My friend Maya challenged me to use the colour yellow - thank you so much, both of you! The image is coloured with Distress Ink, on aquarelle-paper
Here is a list of the other supplies I've used, to make this card;
Size: 12 x 18 cm
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee, ColorBox Fluid Chalk - Creamy Brown, Distress Ink - Refills
Stamps: Sugar Nellie - Daisy, Norsk Stempelblad AS - text ("Greatings from the heart"), Stempelglede - Scrollcircle (My friend), Scrapmagasinet - Signaturestamp
Paper: MME - BellaBella, Bazzill Cardstock - warm, light yellow and faded, dark pink
Embellies: Papirloftet - flowers (used as leaf), Wild Orchid Crafts - roses, Prima - yellow Say it in Crystals, Organza-ribbon - turqoise, vanilla and yellow
Tools: Spellbinder - Nestabillities, Tim Holtz - edgescraper, Brown pen for stiching

Wrapped Chocolate-bars
When I was going to the Ski-gathering a couple a weeks ago, I wanted to make something for a few of my stamp/scrap-friends - just a little something to show that I appreciate them :o) I don't think I know a woman, who don't like chocolate *ü*, and I did'nt have much time to make presents, so I ended up wrapping and embellish 8 chocolate-bars for my friends! Here's the result:

Cupcake Craft Challenge
This week at the Cupcake Craft Challenge Blog, their Challenge #30 has a spring theme. I made the front and the back of this card at the Ski-gathering last weekend, but embellished the insides this week at home. I found out that it suits the spring-challenge at the CCC-blog this week, so I'll give it a shot!
The patterened paper is from Graphic 45 - Baby to Bride Collection "Endless Love", bought at Minnehjørnet. I also used a little bit of an old note-paper, and ofcourse some Bazzill Cardstock.
The image is from Susana's Costum Art, and is coloured with Distress Ink. The text on the bottom-front is from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and says something like "Greatings from the heart". The text inside the card is from Stempelglede. The velvet ribbon was given to me by my sweet DT-friend Elsi, and I borrowed a Fiscars Punch from Nina to make the ribbon-holes - Thank you sweeties! I also embellished my card by using some organza-ribbon, Spellbinder dies, Martha Stewart Scalloped Mini Heart Punch, Prima flowers (used as leaf under the roses) and bling, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, Scrappers Floss, Headpins from Panduro, and a charm from Unik Hobby.

Diecut-box of chocolate
My second contribution to Ett trykk 01/09, playing with diecuts! A little square-box - I drew the template myself, and filled it with chocolate!
The patterened paper is from MME, cardstock from Bazzill, diecuts from Fancy Pants, stamp from WOJ - coloured with the MCP-technic, plastic-charms from a bottle of hairspray, metalcharms from Unik Hobby, flowers from Forsbakk's Ting og Tang, and ribbon from Minnehjørnet. I also embellished the box using my Nesties and QK-swirls, some punched Retro Flowers, some pearls, and some brads.
