Yeeehaaa! Today I'm celebrating my one year anniversary of blogging!

DT Sukkersött Challenge #50

Another friday - another challenge in the Sukkersött Blog ;o) Today's Challenge #50 is a sketch (made by me ;) for you to follow! How cool is that?? You can also find the sketch below the pictures of my card.

Today my sweet nephew Benjamin, is turning 3 years old!!! So, of course I had to use my sketch, to make a birthday card for him ;)
I've had this card "ready" in my head for a looong, looong time, and I'm quite pleased by how it turned out :o)
So with no further ado - here it is....

Card recipe:
Size: 14 x 20 cm
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping the image, and Jet Black for stamping the grunge-corner and the sentiments. Distress Ink - Refills for colouring, and Distress Ink - Faded Jeans for stamping the grunge-splat, and inking the edges.
Stamps: hÄnglar & stÄnglar - Image, Norsk Stempelblad AS - Birthday Sentiments, Stempelglede - Grunge Collections Corner and Splat. Scrapmagasinet - signature.
Papers: Graphic45 - Playtimes Past Collection "Ithink I can", MM - Small Floral Poolside Paperie, Bazzill - Vanilla, Dark Blue and Dotted Swiss Blue, Aquarelpaper 200 gr.
Embellies: Papirloftet - Charm, lots of Black Buttons, Silver Tread, big black Eyelets, black Brads, transparent Dew Drops, a black Ballchain from on of my sons jeans, a small piece of a Silver Chain, Chipboard Train.
Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities Classic Circle and Inverted Scalloped Circle, Crop-A-Dile for making holes and setting the eyelets, Gluepads for mounting the train, the image and the circles.
Other things: The chipboard train is first painted with a blue acrylic paint, then painted with white Distress Crackle Paint, before I went over the edges with Distress Ink - Faded Jeans.

DT Sukkersött Challenge #49

Friday means Sukkersött time ;) For today's challenge #49, we want you to make a christmas card/project! Easy-peasy? Well...We have a limit for you - you're not allowed to use the colours brown, red, green or blue!! Still easy-peasy? Okay, so what are you waiting for? We're looking forward to see all your colourful christmas creations ;)

My card is quite "clean and simple" in the colours of white and beige:

ASFS - Challenge 64

When I saw the great sketch Camilla had made, for Challenge 64, over at A Spoon Full of Sugar, I new I had to make a card with it ;)
For this card, I felt like using my new and georgeous Bo Bunny papers - I think they went great with my already-coloured buzzer-fairy ;)
I also tried to make friends with my sewing-machine (again), but we're not quite buddies yet, I think *lol*
Anyway - here's my card:

Stamps: Buzzcraft - Fairy Doodles (image), Inkadinkado - Kid Quotes (sentiments), Papirloftet - Schroll, My Costume Stamps - Signature.
Papers: Bo Bunny - "Alissa", "So Cute", "Kissable" and "Twirls", Bazzill - Pink and Turqouise Cardstock, Aquarelpaper 200 gr.

DT Sukkersött Challenge #48

Friday already? Jeesess, how fast times fly!
First of all - thank you so much for all your sweet comments, they really make me smile, and warms the bottom of my heart!

For this friday's challenge #48, the Sukkersött Team have come up with a colour-challenge for you: We would like you to make a creation in the colours of brown, red and yellow ;) How cool is that combo?

For this challenge, I've made a quite simple folding card, with a pocket for a small present - I've put some tea-bags in it ;)

DT Sukkersött Challenge #47

Hi everyone! Sukkersött is back on track, with our regulare challenges ;) We hope you had fun, celebrating with us last weekend - we sure did ;)
But now on to our challenge #47! This time we would like you to make a box, and you do have to include buttons and string! You'll have until thursday at 10 pm (22.00) to participate for the price.

I'm often visiting Karola's blog - she makes the most beautiful creations of any kind, and there's where I found the inspiration to make my kind of "box" this time ;)
Get ready for loads of pictures - Here's my two floor birdhouse - hope you enjoy it!

The walls on the back of the houses, hides a secret door, with another image and a sentiment inside:

The windows are made of Spellbinders Dies and acetat, and the roof and flowercases are made out of strips of paper, punched with a scalloped border punch. The fence is made with a Martha Stewart punch:

The roof on both houses are fastened with magnets, and can be removed. On the floors inside both houses, there's also a sentiment:

Here you can also see, that the roses in the little "garden" (and on the front- and back walls) are embellished with thin silver tread (thank you Kirsten, my sweet friend!):

Size: 13 x 24 cm (the whole thing), "Large" house - 7,5x7,5x12 cm, "Small" house - 6x6x9 cm.
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee for stamping, Distress Ink - Shabby Shutters for inking some of the deges, Distress Ink - Refills for colouring.
Images: hÄnglar & stÄnglar.
Sentiments: Stempelglede. My Signaturestamp from Scrapmagasinet is hidden underneath the base.
Papers: Maja Design - Patterned Paper, Bazzill - Red and White Cardstock, Aquarelpaper 200 gr, thick cardstock (for the garden base).
Embellies: Wild Orchid Crafts - Roses and Rosebuds, BG - Buttons, Unik Hobby - Silver Hearts, Green Gemstones, Thin White String, Silver Tread.
Tools: Spellbinders - Nestabilities Classic- and Scalloped Circles and Classic Squares, EK Suksess - Mini Dotted Scalloped Border Punch, Martha Stewart - Fence Punch, Magnets, Crop-A-Dile and Large Eyelets together with some Methal Ornaments from Kort & Godt, are used to fasten the two houses together. The houses are mounted on a small pier, made of a ribbon bobbiner.
